About Building Bridges Foundation
The Building Bridges Foundation is a Geneva-based initiative working at the intersection of finance and sustainable development. Every year, it brings together key players from finance, corporate sectors, governments, civil society, academia, and international development to catalyze a shift towards a global economic model aligned with environmental and social principles.
The 6th edition of the Building Bridges conference will take place from September 30 to October 2, 2025, promoting impactful dialogue and collaboration to accelerate sustainable finance.
About the Position
As an Event and Cross-Department Intern, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the upcoming Building Bridges 2025 event. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of sustainable finance, gain high-profile event experience, and contribute to meaningful stakeholder engagement. You’ll support programme development, event partnerships, and communications in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Your Role & Responsibilities
Assist with the programme development including high-level sessions, solution stages, speed-networking, and side events
Support outreach and coordination with speakers and specific stakeholder groups
Help prepare and deliver guidance materials and webinars for event organizers
Work with the Event Partnership Team to manage partner content, private event logistics, and portal uploads
Collaborate with the Communications Team to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of programme content
Facilitate meetings and interactions among stakeholders involved in Building Bridges 2025
Job requirements
About You
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, communications, international relations, or a related field
Strong written and spoken English; French is a strong advantage
Tech-savvy: comfortable with tools like Monday.com, Airtable, Canva, Mailchimp, Stripe, etc.
Excellent communicator—clear, concise, and confident
Previous experience in event planning, community building, or stakeholder engagement is a plus
Curious, proactive, and enthusiastic about sustainability and finance
Swiss/EU nationality or a valid Swiss work permit is required
